Job summary

Churchill Downs Incorporated is recruiting a Revenue Auditor for our Terre Haute casino. The role covers daily audit of revenue across slot, table games, sportsbook, cage, and food & beverage, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s preferred), 1 year of accounting or auditing experience, and strong math and PC skills with Microsoft Office proficiency. Must obtain Indiana Gaming Commission licensing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
• One-year prior accounting or auditing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Audit daily revenue across slots, tables, sportsbook, cage, and F&B.
• Ensure accuracy, compliance with policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Assist with additional audits as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

Revenue Audit is responsible for the daily audit of revenue that consists of table games, slot, sportsbook, cage, complimentary services and items, food and beverage and others.

Revenue Audit is responsible for the daily audit of revenue that consists of slot, table games, sports wagering, cage, complimentary services/items, and food & beverage.

This description is not all inclusive and the position does require additional audits to ensure the facility is in compliance with company policies and procedures, regulatory guidelines, state tax regulations, and other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree is preferred. One-year prior accounting or auditing experience preferred. Candidate must possess problem solving skills, and have an exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Must possess intermediate PC skills. Microsoft Office experience required.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES

Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing from the Indiana Gaming Commission.
