Job summary

Desimone Gaming in Henderson, NV seeks a Revenue Audit Manager to monitor and guide Audit clerks in daily revenue audits, review analyses, and prepare entries for the general ledger. You will supervise staff, schedule daily work, and coach team members to deliver accurate, compliant financial reporting.

The role requires 3+ years in gaming audit, strong MICS knowledge, and proven leadership. A Nevada Gaming card and 21+ are required; work primarily daytime hours in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• Three years of progressive gaming experience.
• Three years of gaming audit, internal audit, or compliance experience within a gaming environment.
• Strong knowledge of Nevada Gaming Control Board MICS.
• Ability to manage employees, training, and coaching skills with evidence of developing exceptionally motivated teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, administrative, multi-tasking organization and prioritization skills.
• Must possess excellent communications skills.
• Ability to work independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results.
• Nevada Gaming card.
• Minimum age requirement is 21.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise audit staff in their performance of audit procedures and compilation of revenue data.
• Establish/modify accounting staff daily schedules.
• Trains accounting clerks and evaluate accounting clerks’ job performance.
• Review audit schedules weekly for accuracy ensuring month end reconciliation with source information.
• Prepare journal entries for Gaming, Hotel, and F&B operations.
• Work closely with gaming regulators and internal auditors, retrieving records requested.
• File 1042’s and W2G withholding taxes and record 1099 awards.
• Perform Audit Clerk functions and handle irregular hours as needed.
• Investigate or research assigned projects and other duties as assigned.
• Coordinate and facilitate GCB Audits.

It is the responsibility of the Revenue Audit Manager to monitor and guide the Audit clerks in performing daily revenue audits. Review the clerks’ analyses and/or reports prepared in summarizing and classifying revenue transactions for the preparation of the management daily operating report and journal entries for recording in the general ledger.

• Directly supervise audit staff in their performance of audit procedures and compilation of revenue data. Responsible for reviewing MICS requirements completed in Gaming Revenue Audit and retraining staff where needed,
• Establish/modify accounting staff daily schedules.
• Trains accounting clerks and evaluate accounting clerks’ job performance.
• Review audit schedules weekly for accuracy ensuring that schedules at month end are reconciled and supported by the source information.
• Prepare journal entries for Gaming, Hotel, and F&B operations.
• Work closely with gaming regulators and internal auditors, retrieving records requested. The responses to the exceptions and assists departments in their response duties as needed.
• File 1042’s and W2G withholding taxes and record 1099 awards.
• Perform Audit Clerk functions as necessary and the ability to work irregular hours as needed.
• Investigate or research specific assigned projects as well as other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Coordinate and facilitate GCB Audits.

Qualifications

Required:

• Three years of gaming audit, internal audit, or compliance experience within a gaming environment.
• Strong knowledge of Nevada Gaming Control Board MICS.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience i.e. extensive experience and knowledge of gaming revenue auditing, accounting controls and procedures, hotel, and food & beverage auditing
