Job summary

DESIMONE GAMING INC. seeks a Revenue Audit Manager in Henderson, NV to oversee daily revenue audits and guide audit clerks in analyses and journal entries. The role requires strong MICS knowledge and experience auditing gaming operations.

The candidate should lead a team, manage schedules, train staff, and coordinate with regulators, ensuring accurate month-end and compliance reporting while handling special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in gaming revenue auditing, accounting controls and procedures, hotel, and food & beverage auditing.
• Three years of progressive gaming experience.
• Three years of gaming audit, internal audit, or compliance experience within a gaming environment.
• Strong knowledge of Nevada Gaming Control Board MICS.
• Ability to manage employees, training, and coaching skills with evidence of developing exceptionally motivated teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, administrative, multi-tasking organization and prioritization skills.
• Must possess excellent communications skills.
• Ability to work independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results.
• Strong computer skills, knowledge of Aristocrat, Micros, Oasis a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise audit staff in their performance of audit procedures and compilation of revenue data.
• Review clerks’ analyses and reports for daily revenue audits and journal entries.
• Establish/modify accounting staff daily schedules.
• Train accounting clerks and evaluate their performance.
• Review audit schedules weekly for accuracy and month-end reconciliation.
• Prepare journal entries for Gaming, Hotel, and F&B operations.
• Coordinate with regulators and internal auditors; respond to exceptions as needed.
• File 1042’s and W2G withholding taxes and record 1099 awards.
• Investigate or research assigned projects and handle miscellaneous duties.

Job Location: Railroad Pass - Henderson, NV 89002 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 Salary/year Job Shift: Day Job Category: Finance

It is the responsibility of the Revenue Audit Manager to monitor and guide the Audit clerks in performing daily revenue audits. Review the clerks’ analyses and/or reports prepared in summarizing and classifying revenue transactions for the preparation of the management daily operating report and journal entries for recording in the general ledger.

• Directly supervise audit staff in their performance of audit procedures and compilation of revenue data. Responsible for reviewing MICS requirements completed in Gaming Revenue Audit and retraining staff where needed,
• Establish/modify accounting staff daily schedules.
• Trains accounting clerks and evaluate accounting clerks’ job performance.
• Review audit schedules weekly for accuracy ensuring that schedules at month end are reconciled and supported by the source information.
• Prepare journal entries for Gaming, Hotel, and F&B operations.
• Work closely with gaming regulators and internal auditors, retrieving records requested. The responses to the exceptions and assists departments in their response duties as needed.
• File 1042’s and W2G withholding taxes and record 1099 awards.
• Perform Audit Clerk functions as necessary and the ability to work irregular hours as needed.
• Investigate or research specific assigned projects as well as other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Coordinate and facilitate GCB Audits.

Qualifications

Required:

• Three years of progressive gaming experience.
• Three years of gaming audit, internal audit, or compliance experience within a gaming environment.
• Strong knowledge of Nevada Gaming Control Board MICS.
• Ability to manage employees, training, and coaching skills with evidence of developing exceptionally motivated teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, administrative, multi-tasking organization and prioritization skills.
• Must possess excellent communications skills.

• Nevada Gaming card.
• Minimum age requirement is 21.

Education:
