Terrible’s is seeking an Audit Clerk to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage time effectively while reviewing daily audits across convenience stores and car wash operations.

You will reconcile financial data, support month-end close, use POS and accounting software, and communicate audit findings clearly. Strong Excel skills, 1 year auditing experience, and reliability are required; occasional extra hours may be needed.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Minimum of 1 year of auditing experience (required).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience using Microsoft Excel (required).
• Proficiency with financial data and numerical analysis.
• Experience using accounting software (PDI experience is a plus).
• Strong research skills for investigating discrepancies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic and flexibility to work additional hours when needed to meet deadlines.
• Proficient with 10-key calculator.

Aufgaben

• Conduct daily audits for convenience stores and car wash operations using various POS systems.
• Prepare financial reconciliations and investigate variances as assigned.
• Assist with the month-end closing process, including research and correcting entries in PDI.
• Use accounting software, web tools, and Excel spreadsheets for audit tasks.
• Compose and send clear, concise emails regarding audit issues or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of audit results.
