Job summary

Luminace in Baltimore is seeking a detail-oriented Revenue Accountant II to support the Revenue Operations team. You will analyze revenue, apply payments, and reconcile data across systems to maintain subledger and general ledger integrity.

You will work with Finance, FP&A, and external billing providers, prepare recurring reports, assist with close, and help design processes that improve accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 2–4 years in data analytics, finance, accounting, BI, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel with formulas, PivotTables, data analysis.
• Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and analyze revenue data from multiple systems.
• Enter revenue data into appropriate systems accurately.
• Track cash collections and apply payments to invoices.
• Leverage revenue dashboards to ensure invoices are generated and payments applied.
• Support ASC 606 revenue recognition and policies.
• Review data for completeness and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare recurring revenue reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close, including journal entries.
• Respond to internal and external audit requests with documentation.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Operations and IT on reporting initiatives.
• Document reporting processes and data definitions.
• Reconcile data between ERP, billing platforms, and reporting tools.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses for Finance leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy and consistency.
• Support system implementations and continuous process improvements.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
• Become a subject matter expert and drive process improvement.
