About the Role:

Planet is seeking a high-impact Revenue Accounting Transformation Manager to lead the modernization, automation, and scalability of our global revenue engine, reporting to the Global Revenue Accounting Director.

In this role, you will stand at the intersection of technical accounting standards (ASC 606), business systems engineering, and data analytics. You will lead cross-functional transformation across the entire Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) lifecycle. From evaluating new monetization models and designing system configurations to automating audit disclosures and acting as the primary SOX compliance liaison, you will ensure our accounting operations scale effortlessly alongside business growth. You will serve as the architectural bridge between commercial innovation, technical revenue compliance, and automated data pipelines-ensuring the company scales rapidly without sacrificing auditability or operational speed.

This is a full-time, remote position based in the United States. If located near an office, you are expected to work from that office 3 days per week.

Impact You'll Own:

• System Architecture: Lead the design and configuration of automated revenue subledgers.
• Q2C Streamlining: Modernize end-to-end Quote-to-Cash workflows to eliminate manual journal entries, eradicate spreadsheet risks, and shorten month-end close cycles.
• Cross-System Data Alignment: Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate revenue data across ERP, subledgers, and data warehouses.
• Footnote & Executive Dashboards: Automate ASC 606 footnote disclosures and key financial metrics with automated reconciliations.
• Commercial Strategy Engagement: Partner with Product, Sales Ops, and Pricing teams to evaluate systems impact and revenue rules
