Job summary

Function Health seeks a Revenue Accounting Project Manager to shape and standardize revenue processes and controls across streams, partnering with Accounting, Data/Engineering, Finance, and Product.

You will own end-to-end projects, translate accounting requirements into system specs, manage cross-functional initiatives, and drive documentation for audits.

The role requires US GAAP/ASC 606 expertise, 7+ years, CPA preferred, and hands-on data skills in SQL/Excel.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience spanning accounting and project management or operations.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606 for subscription revenue.
• Experience designing or standardizing operational processes and controls.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration with data, engineering, product, or finance.
• Hands-on use of AI or automation tools in accounting workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end revenue accounting initiatives from scoping to completion.
• Translate accounting requirements into system and process designs.
• Collaborate with Data/Engineering, Finance, and Product as the hub.
• Develop and maintain documentation and handoff materials.
• Prepare data for external audits upon request.
