Job summary

Talentedge is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager in NYC to lead ASC 606 revenue recognition and the monthly close for a Series B SaaS business. This first dedicated US hire offers hybrid work (2-3 days in Midtown, NYC) and exposure to a rapidly growing US customer base.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, GTM and Legal, shaping the revenue accounting infrastructure with an automation mindset, and report to the Global Finance function in London. A CPA is required.

Qualifications

• Active CPA required.
• Strong ASC 606 grounding.
• Experience advising on contract reviews for GTM and Legal.
• Automation mindset with focus on improving tech stack.

Responsibilities

• Ensure revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606.
• Lead the revenue close process.
• Collaborate with Product & Engineering to evolve revenue infrastructure (process, controls, systems) and leverage AI where appropriate.
• Partner with GTM and Legal on US-based contracts and reviews.
• Support CFO & London-based Finance lead on broader accounting activities.

Talentedge are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a hyper-growth VC backed SaaS scaleup on their 1st dedicated US hire.

It’s fair to say that we know the team well, having worked with the CFO many times over the years as both a candidate and hiring manager, as well having placed into the current UK team.

This opportunity is to be the first dedicated US Revenue Accounting hire owing to explosive US growth (>50% of their customers are in the US), working very closely with the Global Accounting & Finance function based in London.

Key responsibilities to include:

• Ensure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606
• Lead the revenue close
• Work with Product & Engineering to evolve the revenue & accounting infrastructure from a process, controls and systems perspective, utilising AI at every opportunity
• Partner cross functionally in relation to contract review and structuring, with a particular focus on GTM and Legal (all US based)
• Support CFO & Finance Lead (London based) on wider accounting & finance activities
