The role combines technical accounting with revenue operations, requiring a hands-on builder mentality to scale manual processes into automated systems and to partner with Sales and Legal during contract negotiations.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience with a revenue focus.
• CPA certification required.
• Expert knowledge of ASC 606 and US GAAP.
• Experience with multi-element revenue contracts; media/advertising revenue a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own Revenue Operations: manage billing and collections, track performance obligations and prevent revenue leakage.
• Lead Technical Accounting (ASC 606): document accounting treatment for complex, multi-element contracts.
• Support New Product Growth: establish frameworks for new revenue streams.
• Drive Process Automation: transition to automated revenue tracking, including AI-enabled processes.
• Strategic Business Partnership: collaborate with Sales and Legal during contract negotiations.
• Audit & Compliance: serve as primary contact for external auditors on revenue inquiries; design internal controls and policies.
