Job summary

Goosehead Insurance is seeking a Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting in Westlake, TX. You will oversee revenue recognition under ASC 606, manage monthly close, and drive accuracy in the receivables and commission processes.

Reporting to the Controller, you will lead a team of revenue accountants, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and timely, high‑quality financial reporting for internal stakeholders and external disclosures.

Qualifications

• Experience leading revenue accounting under ASC 606.
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles and external reporting.
• Proven ability to lead, develop and manage accounting teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting and reporting for revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606.
• Oversee monthly and quarterly close for revenue, including entries and reconciliations.
• Support SEC reporting deliverables and disclosures as needed.
• Manage commissions oversight and cash-reconciliation processes.
