Job summary

Syner-G is seeking a detail-oriented Revenue Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team in a fast-growing life sciences consulting organization. You will support revenue recognition, billing, accounts receivable management, and contract review in compliance with ASC 606, working with Sales, Operations, Project Management, and Accounting teams to ensure financial accuracy.

The role requires 1–3 years of revenue accounting experience, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, and strong

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA or CPA-track is a plus.
1–3 years in revenue accounting, invoicing, and accounts receivable.

Responsibilities

Support ASC 606 guidance for consulting and project-based contracts.
Review client contracts and SOWs to understand billing and revenue recognition requirements.
Prepare customer invoices and verify invoice accuracy.
Maintain 1099 contractor costs in line with invoicing and project billing requirements.
Support accounts receivable and cash collection activities, including aging reports.
Assist with revenue and AR reconciliations, month-end close activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing issues and identify process improvements.
