General Summary

The Revenue Accountant will be responsible for gross to net revenue accounting related to sales reserves and their impact on profit and loss. The position will also assist in administering customer rebates and maintaining accurate accruals.

This position can be fully remote.

Essential Duties

1. Analyze complex gross to net revenue reserves for reasonableness.
2. Prepare monthly account reconciliations with supporting backup.
3. Generate monthly reports on gross to net revenue and analyze changes.
4. Develop and analyze rates for revenue reserve accruals for actual and planning purposes.
5. Maintain an in-depth understanding of accounting systems and business processes.
6. Develop and implement internal controls.
7. Assist the returns team in processing returns as needed.
8. Support ad hoc projects such as SAP entity split.
9. Provide audit support for quarterly and annual reviews.
10. Understand rebate processes and collaborate with the Contracts Team.
11. Review credit memos for accuracy.
12. Calculate quarterly profit shares or royalty payments and prepare partner statements.
13. Review rebate balances for timely credit issuance and adjust accruals accordingly.
14. Respond to customer and commercial inquiries.
15. Identify and implement continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in accounting. A minimum of two years of accounting experience, including a good understanding of reserve liability accounting, is necessary. Public accounting experience is advantageous. CPA, CMA, or equivalent certifications are a plus. Familiarity with ERP systems, especially SAP, is preferred.

Excellent Excel skills and data manipulation abilities are essential, along with a desire to learn. Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills are required. Ability to multitask, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and propose solutions to problems is necessary.

Compensation Range: $51,745.00 - $77,617.00
