About the Company - Fusable is looking to hire a Revenue Accountant to join our team. You will contribute to the order-to-cash cycle and the production of the Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) bridges each month. You will partner closely with Finance, Sales and Account Management teams. The ideal candidate will possess experience working in SaaS business models with Private Equity experience a plus. The position is remote and reports to the Director of Finance Planning and Analysis.

About the Role - Order Management Responsibilities

• Perform reviews of opportunities for completeness and accuracy prior to moving to Closed Won status and revenue recognition starting
• Perform appropriate data validation and maintenance in Great Plains and SalesForce: special invoice or revenue recognition terms, etc.
• Collaborate with Account Management team during the monthly renewal cycle regarding client status
• Work with Sales & Account Management teams to understand our client contractual agreements, i.e., monthly vs quarterly vs annual

General Accounting Responsibilities

• Complete monthly revenue roll forwards for all revenue accounts
• Complete fluctuation analysis with detailed comments for monthly financial reporting package
• Analyze revenue transactions by customer to evaluate data integrity and proper treatment of transactions within the revenue sub-ledger
• Maintain monthly revenue forecast models and assist with annual budgeting process
• Utilize software applications for company accounting operations with continual process improvements for efficiency and accuracy gains
• Design analytical review procedures to assess the accuracy of financial results surrounding revenue
• Develop and implement revenue processes to increase efficiency and strengthen the broader internal control environment
• Support the Finance team in a variety of ad hoc projects and tasks

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience with 2 plus experience of revenue recognition experience; proficient in US GAAP application (specific experience with Revenue ASC 606 is a plus)
• Experience with Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) bridges, i.e., churn, volume decreases, volume increases, new sales and cross-sells by customer each month
• Financial systems knowledge and experience with Microsoft Great Plains or similar ERP systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate accounting concepts between cross-functional teams within the organization
• Strong people skills; ability to take charge, set objectives and drive results while building long-term relationships across organizational boundaries with all levels of seniority
• Ability to manage a diverse workload, while ensuring accuracy and timeliness with attention to detail and a commitment to continuous process improvement
• Advanced Excel skills with ability to synthesize and analyze large sets of data
• Genuine interest in revenue accounting and desire to align process and systems with industry best practices
• Experience with SalesForce, PowerBI, Microsoft Great Plains and NetSuite
