Job summary

Deacon Recruiting is seeking a Revenue Accountant in the Alamo Heights area of San Antonio, Texas, to join a $70M oilfield services company poised to double in size. You will own the revenue cycle from field tickets to cash collection and work with leadership including CFO and Controller.

In this role, you will manage daily revenue tracking, invoicing, AR follow-up, and billing accuracy using SAP Business One and FieldCap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• 3+ years in Revenue Accounting, AR, Billing, or Invoicing.
• Experience with SAP Business One or FieldCap is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the revenue process, including daily revenue tracking, invoicing, and AR follow-up.
• Convert approved field tickets into customer invoices within 48 hours.
• Review field activity, contracts, and docs to ensure accurate billing.
• Assist with revenue forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and process improvements.
• Maintain revenue and AR records in SAP Business One and FieldCap.

YOUR TYPICAL DAY

• Own the revenue process, including daily revenue tracking, invoicing, and accounts receivable follow-up
• Convert approved field tickets into customer invoices within 48 hours
• Review field activity, customer contracts, and supporting documentation to ensure accurate billing
• Assist with revenue forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and process improvements
• Maintain accurate revenue and AR records within SAP Business One and FieldCap

YOU HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of Revenue Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Billing, or Invoicing experience
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and the revenue cycle
• Experience within energy, oilfield services, manufacturing, construction, water services, or a related industry
• Exceptional attention to detail and a natural ability to identify discrepancies
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple contracts and customer accounts
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across Operations and Accounting
• A hungry, motivated mindset with a desire to learn, grow, and expand your responsibilities
• Experience with SAP Business One, FieldCap, or similar systems is a plus
