CFS in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a Revenue Accountant to drive ASC 606 revenue recognition and support the month-end close in a hybrid work environment.

You will partner with Commercial, Legal, Operations, and Accounting to analyze customer agreements, own revenue close activities, and develop documentation for technical accounting matters. The role emphasizes automation and improvements to revenue workflows, with broad visibility and impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting, revenue accounting, or finance experience.
• Working knowledge of ASC 606 and US GAAP.
• Strong advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

• Analyze customer agreements and contract changes to determine ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Own revenue-related close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Develop supporting documentation for revenue conclusions and technical accounting matters.
• Support quarterly and year-end reporting while executing SOX controls.
• Improve revenue accounting workflows through automation and data-driven improvements.
