Beacon Hill Staffing Group is seeking a Revenue Accountant to join a growing accounting team in Arlington, VA. You will support revenue accounting processes, including revenue recognition, reconciliations, and month-end close, while ensuring accurate reporting and strong controls.

The role requires a solid accounting foundation, attention to detail, and experience with revenue-related accounts. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and audits will be part of the day-to-day work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with exposure to revenue accounting.
• Strong GAAP knowledge including ASC 606 and revenue recognition.
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems.
• Detail-oriented with analytical and organizational abilities.
• Able to work independently while collaborating across teams.

Beacon Hill is seeking a Revenue Accountant to join a growing accounting team. This position will be responsible for supporting the revenue accounting process, including revenue recognition, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting foundation, excellent attention to detail, and experience working with revenue-related accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support revenue recognition and related accounting activities
• Prepare revenue-related journal entries and account reconciliations
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
• Reconcile revenue accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Review contracts, billing activity, and supporting documentation for accurate revenue recognition
• Maintain revenue schedules and supporting documentation
• Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis

Preferred Experience

• Direct revenue recognition or revenue accounting experience
