Job summary

Hilton College Station and Conference Center Hotel is seeking a Bartender to prepare and serve drinks, maintain bar standards, and ensure guest satisfaction. You will handle cash and room charges accurately and assist with restocking and safety compliance.

Required are the ability to mix cocktails, excellent guest service, and basic English fluency. Prior beverage service experience and familiarity with POS systems are a plus in a fast-paced hotel bar environment.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Three to six months in a food/beverage services environment or establishment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, mix drinks, and service with clean-up of bar area while maintaining quality and standards.
• Check customer's age by identifying documents as required by law.
• Ring guest checks and handle cash, cards, and room charges per policy.
• Maintain wine/liquor pars and ensure compliance with state liquor laws.

Provide exceptional service to all guests. Able to multitask and handle all the equipment especially in a bar that uses modern technology. Must have manual coordination to punch buttons, grasp items in hand, and to balance and carry trays loaded with food and beverages. Able to read, speak and understand English.
