Job summary

Reuben's Brews seeks a Brand Ambassador to drive in-store tastings, festival and community activations across Puget Sound. You will work with our sales team and wholesalers, representing both our beer and Party On non-alcoholic line, while setting up your own kit and ensuring products are well presented.

The role emphasizes reliability, weekend/evening availability, and strong interpersonal skills; Washington driver’s license, MAST permit, and Food Worker Card required or obtainable in two weeks.

Qualifications

• Retail demo, beverage, hospitality or events experience is a plus but not a requirement
• Reliability—shifts are scheduled weeks ahead and a missed shift affects coverage
• Physical demands include standing/walking, lifting cases and ice up to 50 pounds
• Valid Washington driver’s license and clean driving record
• MAST permit and Washington Food Worker Card or willingness to obtain within two weeks

Responsibilities

• Running in-store tastings at grocery stores, bottle shops and retailers across Puget Sound.
• Pouring and sampling at festivals, events, and community activations (weekends/evenings).
• Representing Reuben’s portfolio including Party On non-alcoholic line; talk knowledgeably with customers.
• Setup/breakdown of kit (canopy, table, cooler, signage) and keep product cold/presented.
• Reporting data after each shift: samples, location, feedback, and any inquiries.
• Building relationships with store staff, beer buyers, event organizers and wholesalers.
• Transporting product and equipment to activations; assisting across sales and taproom events.
• Roles may evolve over time with brewery growth.

Brand Ambassadors have one primary goal: to turn a first taste into a customer. The successful applicant will work closely with our sales team and our wholesaler partners.

About Us

Reuben's Brews is a family brewery founded in 2012. We brew from the glass backwards: designing each beer with intention, unbound by constraints. We know making the extra effort is worth it. We are the most decorated brewery in Washington, have two brewhouses, two tasting rooms, and we distribute our beer predominantly in the Pacific Northwest. In 2025 we brewed 24,000 BBLs.

The Role

• Running in-store tastings at grocery stores, bottle shops and specialty retailers across Puget Sound — this is the core of the role and the part that moves the numbers
• Pouring and sampling at festivals, events and community activations, including weekends and some evenings
• Representing the full Reuben's portfolio — our beer and our Party On non-alcoholic line — and knowing all of it well enough to talk about it with anyone
• Setting up and breaking down your own kit: canopy, table, cooler, ice, signage — and keeping product cold and properly presented at all times
• Starting conversations with people who didn't ask to be talked to, and handling skepticism gracefully
• Merchandising while on site: facing the shelf, checking cold box placement, noting out-of-stocks and anything that doesn't look right
• Accurately reporting data after every shift — samples poured, location, customer feedback, and any account or venue asking where to buy
• Building and maintaining relationships with store staff, beer buyers, event organizers and wholesaler reps
• Transporting product, equipment and signage safely to and from activations
• Helping out across sales and potentially taproom events when needed

The Successful Candidate Will Have

• An infectious positivity - this is the whole job. Retail demo, beverage, hospitality or events experience is a plus but not a requirement
• Reliability - shifts are scheduled weeks ahead and a missed shift is a booth nobody staffed
• Physical demands include but are not limited to: Frequently required to stand and walk for extended periods, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; regularly lift or move cases of beer and coolers of ice (up to 50 pounds); loading and unloading a vehicle.
• Valid Washington driver's license and a clean driving record required
• MAST permit and Washington Food Worker Card required, or willing to obtain within your first two weeks — we'll reimburse both
• Availability on weekends and some evenings, minimum two shifts per week
