Job summary

Shop LC is seeking a Warehouse Returns Associate in Austin, TX to process product returns and support warehouse staff in a 24/7, high-volume setting. This role involves inspecting returns, documenting notes, and ensuring proper disposition of items.

Work schedule varies by shift and may include evenings, holidays, and weekends. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of returns or related experience, solid computer skills, and knowledge of warehouse procedures.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of prior returns or similar experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills (e.g., personal computers, printers, email)
• Knowledge of warehouse operating procedures and protocol
• Prior experience in distribution, warehouse, or inventory handling preferred.
• Ability to operate inventory control and related computer software
• Ability to stay focused and on task in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
• Unpack returned merchandise, inspect package condition, and review return paperwork for proper processing
• Inspect returned merchandise for quality and condition to determine return category
• Receive merchandise, following all security and safety return procedures for each product type
• Distribute returned items to their proper location based on product value, condition, and return type
• Input clear, accurate customer account notes in internal systems, documenting return reasons, feedback, and instructions
• Identify and report critical distribution issues to the team lead/supervisor
• Complete data entry as needed
• All other duties as assigned by manager
