Job summary

Sysco New Orleans (Division of USA II) is seeking a warehouse associate to manage damaged products and returns from delivery routes. You will operate an electric pallet jack and forklift, review damage sheets, re-box and relabel items, and return inventory to stock while maintaining proper rotation of perishables.

You will verify driver paperwork, assist with inventory controls, and help with route breakdowns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to become certified on warehouse equipment.
• Proficiency with basic math and writing simple notes.

Responsibilities

• Controls damaged products and returns from deliveries.
• Operates electric pallet jack and forklift as needed.
• Reviews damage sheets to determine salvageable items.
• Re-boxes, relabels, and returns inventory to stock.
• Stores returns by space and correct slotting.
• Rotates perishables and monitors expirations with inventory control.
• Reports short-dated items and communicates concerns.
• Prepares items for donation to food bank when required.
• Verifies drivers paperwork and returned merchandise.
• Ensures accurate reason codes and clean invoices.
• Supports route breakdowns and inventory reconciliation.
• Provides coverage for Driver Check-In as needed.
• Adheres to safety policies and high-risk item procedures.
