Job summary

Connection is seeking a Returns Material Handler in Wilmington, OH to manage the movement and accountability of products in the Returns locations. Under the Returns Lead, you will load and unload materials, pick, pack, and ship items back to suppliers as a certified forklift operator.

You will identify proper shipping labels, palletize products for shipment, and collaborate with Customer Service, Refurb, Receiving, and vendor teams to ensure accurate inventory and timely processing.

Qualifications

  • One or more years of experience in a similar role.
  • Basic computer knowledge with ability to operate keyboard for data entry.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with ability to create a document or simple spreadsheet.
  • Ability to identify Item & SKU products.
  • Have strong communication skills and customer service experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that all returns to be shipped are processed accurately and in a timely manner according to company policy to ensure timely reimbursement to Connection.
  • Assists the Returns team in the processing and warehousing of all returned items.
  • Ensures 100% accuracy is maintained on all inventory and assuring that it is put away in proper locations.
  • Assists in the evaluation and reclassification of Open Box and Scratch and Dent product not being processed in the Refurb Lab.
  • Prepares and monitors inventory of liquidation/destroy product to assure accuracy for proper disposition. Also pull any product from sellable locations as directed to be dispositioned.
  • Provides answers to any questions that arise on product within the Returns Department.

The Returns Material Handler is responsible for the movement and accountability ofproducts within the Returns locations. Taking direction from the Returns Lead, the Returns Material Handler loads and unloads materials on and off trucks, picking, packing, and shipping materials back to suppliers. Knowledge of identifying proper shipping labels and coordinating and palletizing products for shipment is required. The Handler works in a warehouse environment as a certified forklift operator. The Returns Material Handler collaborates with other departments such as Customer Service, Refurb, Receiving, Return to Vendor Associates, Purchasing and external Connection Customers, carriers and Vendors.
