Job summary

Price Engineering, a SunSource company, seeks a detail-driven Returns Coordinator/Buyer Assistant to manage end-to-end returns and support procurement. You will balance warehouse coordination with Prophet 21 (P21) system tasks, ensuring accuracy and timely vendor communication.

The role requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and clear communication with vendors and internal teams. A high school diploma is required; Associate/Bachelor’s in business or supply chain preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in purchasing, inventory control, or returns processing.
• Experience with Prophet 21 (P21) or similar ERP preferred.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Clear, professional communication with vendors and internal teams.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process all return authorizations from start to finish.
• Coordinate with warehouse to inspect, sort, and disposition returns.
• Track RMAs and prevent aging inventory.
• Credit processing and recording in financials with accounting.
• Maintain return docs and audit-ready reports.
• Perform cycle counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Set up new items in P21; manage pricing and vendors.
• Expedite supplier orders and maintain PO records.
