Job summary

Plumbers Supply Co. is seeking a Returns Coordinator to own the returns process, RMAs, vendor credits, and inventory transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely processing in our warehouse.

You will review returned inventory, coordinate with Purchasing, generate RGAs, pack and ship returns, and maintain organized records while collaborating with Purchasing, Accounts Payable, and warehouse teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of warehouse, inventory, or returns processing experience preferred.
• Experience with vendor returns, RMAs, inventory reconciliation, or similar processes is a plus.
• Comfortable using inventory systems, scanners, and basic computer applications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and follow through on open items.
• Ability to read and interpret return documentation, packing slips, and related paperwork.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with Purchasing, Accounts Payable, vendors, and warehouse teams.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage all returns, RMAs, and vendor credits.
• Review returned inventory and determine the appropriate disposition of materials.
• Create and process vendor returns using company systems.
• Coordinate with vendors and Purchasing to obtain return authorizations (RGAs).
• Package and ship returned materials to vendors.
• Track open returns and vendor credits, following up to ensure timely resolution.
• Verify vendor credits and resolve discrepancies when needed.
• Submit supporting documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain an organized returns staging area and filing system.
• Monitor reporting and identify aging returns that require action.
• Assist with inventory counts, audits, and process improvement initiatives.
• Support warehouse operations during peak periods as needed.
