Job summary

Meyer Distributing is seeking a Returns Inspector to join the Jasper, IN team. This role inspects returned products and decides if they can be returned to inventory or sent back to the vendor.

The position offers a weekly schedule Monday–Thursday and slightly shorter Fridays and Saturdays with notice, at $18.00 per hour. Preferred candidates have a high school diploma and about a year of warehouse experience, plus attention to detail and data-entry skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect returned product and determine if complete order was returned for quality.
• Re-pack and place the quality returned items back into inventory if resellable.
• Keep accurate records on RGA number and product condition details.
• Perform minor repairs to quality items if needed.
• Keep warehouse and work area clean and organized.
• Wear protective toe shoes and work safely.
