Job summary

Rocky Brands in Logan, Ohio is seeking a Returns Inspector to receive, inspect, and determine first quality goods versus defective items in a fast-paced distribution center.

You will load and unload merchandise, use the warehouse management system to locate and relocate stock, read SKU labels, verify accuracy, apply labeling, handle returns with RA/RMA, and assist in quality inspections while following safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or 6–12 months of related experience.
• 6–12 months of Distribution Center or similar work experience.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and low lighting.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Read, analyze and interpret general business manuals and instructions.
• Willingness to be trained on various material handling equipment.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Distribution Center: This position operates within a fast-paced distribution center environment. Work is performed around conveyor systems, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment. Noise levels range from moderate to loud depending on operational activity. Employees may work in areas with concrete floors, high traffic zones, and variable lighting. Temperatures may fluctuate based on seasonal weather and warehouse ventilation. Work may occur in shipping/receiving dock areas where outdoor conditions can impact airflow and temperature. The role requires frequent standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility, including navigating between aisles, racks, and storage locations. Employees are expected to maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow all company safety policies and operational procedures.
