Empire Distributors Inc, a leading beverage distributor, is now hiring a Warehouse / Returns Clerk. Pay - $19.25

Summary

The Returns Clerk visually inspects driver return products to verify that customer invoice credits and adjustments match the physical product. They record this information in the SAP system, sort the product to designated locations, and stage the product accordingly. The clerk also assists with various warehouse activities as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Operate and work with computerized inventory systems such as SAP.
• Verify all physically returned products against customer invoice notations upon driver route returns.
• Verify inventory returned from store closings.
• Accurately input adjustments, by respective code, into the SAP system.
• Guide drivers to place returns in designated locations to ensure accurate product put-away.
• Verify and record all short, mislabeled, unsellable, breakage, and overage products with the driver to ensure proper credit and tracking.
• Communicate with the driver supervisor and warehouse supervisor regarding concerns, process improvements, and driver interactions.
• Verify that all manifest pages are complete and in order.
• Reposition pallets of returns to the staging area for put-away.
• Put returned products away as directed by the SAP Warehouse Management System and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Transportation Supervisor.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills

Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with order processing systems.
