Job summary

DHL is seeking a Return Center Module Operator to open, verify, scan returned merchandise, and place freight in proper locations. You will lift up to 50 lbs frequently in a non-temperature environment, supporting efficient operations.

The role runs on the 1st shift (Tue-Thu 6am-4pm, Fri 6am-3:35pm) with a pay rate of $21.45 per hour. Training, benefits, and advancement opportunities are provided by DHL Supply Chain, the world’s largest logistics company.

Qualifications

• Six months warehouse experience preferred.
• Six months forklift operation experience preferred.
• Material handling equipment certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open, verify and scan returned product.
• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage product using powered equipment.
• Verify item is in original packaging for scanning.
• Ensure scanned freight reaches the correct destination.
• Identify items requiring special processing or separation (hazardous material, store services, salvage).
• Observe safety and sanitation standards.

Role Purpose

Opens and verifies returned merchandise, scans merchandise, and places freight in proper locations.

Key Accountabilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage product using powered equipment.
• Verify proper item is in the original packaging in preparation for scanning.
• Assure accurate and proper processing of all freight utilizing the scanning system.
• Identify items that require special processing or separation (e.g. hazardous material, store services, research, salvage).
• Ensure that scanned freight reaches the appropriate destination (e.g. slot, destroy, salvage).
• Stack and tape pallets in a safe manner.
• Observe all safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• Material handling equipment certification, preferred
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred
• Six months forklift operation experience, preferred
