Job summary

Boulevard Tire Center in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Manufacturing Retread Technician to join our team. This hands-on role involves inspecting, buffing, repairing and rebuilding tires from rubber components using specialized machines, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Forklift experience is a plus; we prefer candidates with one year of manufacturing/production experience. We offer training, paid vacation, 401(k) and clear opportunities for advancement as we grow.

Qualifications

• 1 year manufacturing/production experience preferred.
• Forklift experience a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail with good attendance and safety record; willing to learn and advance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect worn tires for faults to determine retread suitability.
• Operate buffing machine to remove tread per depth/width specs.
• Measure diameter and cross section to set tread width.
• Build semi-raw rubber treads onto casings for retreading.
• Program curing temperature and monitor chamber process.
• Inspect cured tires for defects and perform repairs as needed.
• Finish tires with tread design, paint, and stock placement.
