Qualifications

• Must have 1 year manufacturing and production experience
• Forklift experience is a plus; training is available for motivated candidates
• Attention to detail, good attendance and safety record required

Responsibilities

• Inspect worn tires for faults and determine retread suitability
• Operate buffing equipment to remove treads according to specs
• Measure diameter and cross section to select correct tread width
• Build rubber treads onto casings for retreading and vulcanization
• Program curing temperature and inspect cures for defects
• Trim, paint, and finalize retreaded tires for stock
