Job summary

A leading tire services company in Redding, CA is seeking a Production Associate to join their retread team. Responsibilities include inspecting and repairing tires to extend their life. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S. The role offers a base pay range of $19 to $21 per hour along with comprehensive benefits including medical, 401(k) matching, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Previous experience in manufacturing environment/ General Labor/ Entry Level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the tires to assess if they can be retread.
• Buff the casing to remove any worn tread.
• Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair the tire casing.
• Using rubber cement or a patch, repair the casing before applying new tread.
• Build the tire by applying new tread.
• Cure the tire to mold the retread application.
• Final Inspection to assess a safe and quality product.
