Job summary

A leading tire manufacturing company is seeking a Production Associate: Retread Tire Technician in Jackson, TN. In this role, you will support the retreading process by inspecting and repairing tires. Ideal candidates have basic computer skills and must be 18 years of age or older. Qualifications

• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
• Basic Computer Skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the tires to assess if they can be retread.
• Buff the casing to remove worn tread.
• Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair the tire casing.
• Repair the casing with rubber cement or a patch before applying new tread.
• Build the tire by applying new tread.
• Cure the tire to mold the retread application.
• Perform Final Inspection to assess a safe and quality product.

Education

High School Diploma or GED preferred
