Job summary

Purcell Tire & Rubber Co in Phoenix, AZ seeks a full-time Retread Technician to perform specific retreading tasks per company specifications, standards, and time frames.

The role runs Mon-Fri, 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM. Compensation starts at $20/hr with experience, plus a monthly production bonus, paid training, and a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision and a 401(k) with company match. PTO after 90 days and holidays are provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a background & drug screen.
• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull heavy objects.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires to be retreaded or repaired.
• Work plant station to repair and/or retread tires per specification.
• Safely operate plant equipment to buff, skive, repair, envelope, cure tires.
• Safely trim, paint and tag finished tires.
• Make final tire repair inspection and place with finished stock.
• Ensure work order completion: proper work, and identification.
• Maintain equipment in good operating condition.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols.
• Protect company assets (inventory, receivables, equip & real estate).
• Look for opportunities to improve our products & services.
