Summary/objective

The Retirement Specialist is responsible for selling isolved's 401(k) solutions to existing clients, helping organizations enhance their employee benefits and retirement planning strategies. This role works closely with clients to identify retirement plan needs, provide education on available solutions, and drive adoption of isolved's retirement services. Additionally, the Retirement Specialist collaborates with the Talent Services team to ensure clients have comprehensive workforce strategies that include retirement planning as part of a long-term talent retention strategy.

Core Job Duties
  • Develop a deep understanding of isolved's 401(k) solutions and their advantages for businesses and employees.
  • Engage with clients to assess retirement planning needs and provide consultative guidance on benefits strategies.
  • Educate clients on the benefits of offering 401(k) plans and assist in solution implementation.
  • Drive upsell opportunities while maintaining trust and long-term client relationships.
  • Work in collaboration with internal teams to ensure a smooth client experience.
  • Analyze sales performance and market trends to identify areas for growth.
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets while maintaining a high standard of client service.
  • Refer clients to additional isolved solutions, including Talent Services, HCM, and HR Services, when applicable.

Experience

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.

Minimum Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in business, human resources, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in sales, account management, or client services, preferably within HCM technology, financial services, or a related industry.
  • Proven ability to consult with clients, identify needs, and effectively sell solutions that drive business value.
  • Strong understanding of industry-specific concepts, regulations, and best practices relevant to the role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage clients and simplify complex topics.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining client relationships while identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and sales enablement tools.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams to ensure client success.
  • Results-driven mindset with a passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced, evolving sales environment with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Physical Demands

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift to 15 pounds.

Travel Required

Yes, up to 15% domestic travel may be required.
