Job summary

UC OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT is recruiting for a Retirement Administration Service Center 2 (CX) role. The CSR2 will handle a full range of member inquiries, resolving issues and guiding customers through UCRP Retirement and related benefits.

The position, located in Oakland with a hybrid schedule, requires at least 2 years of customer service experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with common computer applications. Background checks apply and review begins soon.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of customer service experience in retirement/benefits administration.
• Proven ability to provide excellent customer support.
• Strong verbal and written communication, active listening, and multi-tasking.
• Working knowledge of common computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Responds to basic to moderately complex inquiries regarding UCRP Retirement, Survivor and Special Claims, UCRP Disability and health and welfare benefits.
• Maintains quality service by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
• Answers moderately complex inquiries regarding UCRP service credit.
• Researches, reviews, and validates documents for accuracy.
• Meets deadlines under demanding conditions with changing priorities.
• Works collaboratively as a team member or independently in a respectful and professional manner.
