Job summary

Empower Retirement seeks a Retirement Plan Counselor to help public employees in Alaska build retirement readiness. You will meet participants virtually or in person to discuss employer DC plans and retirement readiness, while partnering with internal teams to deliver client value.

Based in Anchorage or Juneau with travel across Alaska as needed. Strong presentation skills and FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in financial services or retirement planning.
• FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses required.
• Ability to meet service level agreements and drive business results.
• Strong presentation and webinar delivery skills.
• Willingness to travel within Alaska as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic relationships with site contacts in the assigned territory.
• Meet with participants virtually and in person to discuss DC features and retirement readiness.
• Work closely with internal partners to deliver increased client value.
• Relay customer feedback to Marketing/Sales/Client services as needed.
