Qualifications

• 2+ years of work experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education.
• Associate or Bachelors degree a plus.
• Strong math and 10-key skills.
• Ability to understand basic plan and contract provisions, procedures and manuals.
• Basic PC skills and knowledge of mainframe and PC software such as Pension accounting, recordkeeping systems, word processing and spreadsheets.
• Adapt to frequent change with good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform calculations and process transactions to establish and maintain accurate computerized retirement plan records for customers, ensuring compliance with timing and quality standards.
• Review internal and external correspondence to determine appropriate action and seek assistance when needed.
• Assist in training, leadership, and development of team members and with procedural updates.
• Communicate in writing with customers about record-keeping needs and plan procedures.
• Use available resources and colleagues to complete daily tasks and suggest improvements.
• Perform other duties or special projects as required.
