Job summary

CPS Inc., a leading retirement plan provider, seeks an experienced Retirement Plan Sales Consultant in Detroit to drive new business through COIs such as ERISA attorneys, CPAs, and accounting firms. You will develop relationships with centers of influence and convert introductions into plan sponsor opportunities.

You’ll explain plan designs, compliance, ERISA concepts, and cross-tested, profit-sharing, and cash balance options while collaborating with recordkeepers and administrators.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retirement plan sales experience.
• Proven success developing COI relationships and generating new business.
• Series 65 preferred.
• Strong communication and business development skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen relationships with advisors, attorneys, and CPAs.
• Generate startup and takeover business through COI relationships.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional services and plan enhancements.
• Explain and position plan designs, compliance, and ERISA.
• Work with daily recordkeepers and understand plan setup and administration.
