Job summary

Empower is seeking a Strategic Retirement Plan Advisor to guide individuals in employer-sponsored retirement plans toward long-term financial success. This role conducts comprehensive assessments and delivers tailored investment strategies through in-person and virtual consultations across an assigned territory.

The advisor uses Empower’s tools to tailor plans, collaborates with multiple internal teams, and maintains client relationships to drive outcomes and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant financial services experience.
• FINRA Series 6, 63 and 65 registrations required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel to client sites as necessary (up to 50%).
• FINRA fingerprinting required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth advice conversations to assess participants’ financial health.
• Utilize proprietary planning software to deliver investment reviews.
• Customize and implement actionable financial plans using analytical tools.
• Lead one-on-one consultations and group education sessions, both virtual and in-person.
• Document participant interactions in Salesforce and ensure compliance.
• Meet SLAs and exceed client expectations.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to refer to wealth management solutions.
