Job summary

Southeastern Retina Associates (SERA) in Knoxville, Tennessee seeks a board-certified or board-eligible retina specialist to join a growing, physician-owned practice. You will diagnose, treat, and perform advanced vitreoretinal procedures for AMD, diabetic retinopathy, and other retinal diseases, while collaborating with a team of experienced ophthalmologists.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible retina specialist.
• Passion for delivering high‑quality patient care.
• Ability to thrive in a physician-owned, collaborative setting.
• Interest in practice growth and network expansion.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat AMD, diabetic retinopathy, detachments and macular diseases.
• Perform in‑office procedures and advanced vitreo-retinal surgeries.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists to provide comprehensive care.
• Utilize OCT, angiography, and wide-field imaging in diagnostics.
• Engage in clinical research, teaching, or leadership opportunities if desired.
• Expand and nurture the referral network while ensuring excellent patient care.
