Southeastern Retina Associates (SERA) is actively seeking a Retina Specialist to join our Knoxville, Tennessee practice. This physician-owned, retina-only group offers a collaborative environment with a focus on high-quality patient care and advanced retinal treatments.

Qualifications

  • Board-certified retina specialist or board-eligible.
  • Interest in collaborative, physician-owned setting.
  • Wamiliarity with advanced retinal imaging and procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat a full spectrum of retinal diseases including AMD and diabetic retinopathy.
  • Perform in-office procedures and vitreoretinal surgeries at a modern surgical center.
  • Collaborate with a team of ophthalmologists to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Utilize imaging technologies (OCT, fluorescein angiography, wide-field imaging).
  • Engage in clinical research, teaching, or leadership opportunities if desired.
  • Expand and nurture the referral network.

Southeastern Retina Associates (SERA), with 21 board-certified ophthalmologists specializing in the treatment and surgery for diseases of the retina, macula and vitreous, is one of the largest remaining physician-owned and independent retina practices in the country, and the most experienced retina team in East Tennessee. Since 1980, SERA has offered the most advanced surgical, injection and medical approaches to patients with all types of retinal conditions, including age-related macular degeneration (AMD), retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, macular diseases, retinal vascular diseases, ocular tumors, and ocular trauma.   • Perform in-office procedures and advanced vitreoretinal surgeries at our state-of-the-art surgical center.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced ophthalmologists to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Utilize the latest imaging and diagnostic technologies, including OCT, fluorescein angiography, and wide-field imaging.
  • Participate in clinical research, teaching, or leadership opportunities (if desired).
  • Provide exceptional patient care.
  • Expand and nurture our referral network.

Qualifications:
