We're looking for a proven retention marketer to lead the strategy and execution of email/SMS marketing to help our clients grow.
Leading a team consisting of a designer and Klaviyo specialist, the Retention Strategist will be tasked with leading a retention pod and will report to our Head of Retention. The primary objective of the position is to sustainably grow channel traffic and revenue by outlining/implementing strategy, managing client relationships / reporting, and leveraging email/SMS to improve customer experience and LTGP (lifetime gross profit) for our clients.
We are specifically looking for candidates who are ready to lead a team in a competitive, high-performance environment with limited oversight - given the leanness and growth at our agency, we will be more akin to collaborators than managers of your team.

Lead communication and manage client relationships, establishing campaign & flow calendars that are built around business goals
Write winning copy and tee up designers for success by staying on top of trends and balancing 'brand' with high-converting visuals
Alongside your team's Klaviyo specialist, build and deploy campaigns in Klaviyo
Analyze client results and execute reporting that's meaningful (no jargon) - actionable, real (nuanced), and provides the client with context to understand where they are and how they can move towards where they want to go
Meet and exceed KPIs, both internal and with client account performance
Collaborate closely with in-house or external partners across organic social, paid social, google, web, etc. to maximize growth
