GEICO is seeking a Principal Analyst in Retention Analytics to join the Marketing Analytics team. The role focuses on why policyholders stay or leave and how marketing investments improve retention.

The analyst leads measurement design, holds accountability for decision-ready insights, and partners with senior Retention Marketing leaders. You will design and read holdouts, build the retention scorecard, forecast impacts, and automate reporting with BI tools to support strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Data Science, etc.).
• 7+ years in marketing analytics or related role with retention focus.
• Expert SQL with optimization skills; Python or R for analysis.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Retention Marketing leadership to shape measurement and insights agenda.
• Own strategy for retention measurement across touchpoints, including emails and renewal communications.
• Lead forecasts, business case analysis, and the retention scorecard development.
• Run holdout/test‑and‑control or quasi‑experimental designs; assess limitations and provide actionable results.
• Present to senior leadership and influence strategic decisions with analytics.
