Job summary

North Star Group is seeking a Wireless Specialist to help customers find the right devices, plans, and services while creating a friendly, helpful experience from the moment they walk through the door.

You’ll greet customers, ask questions to determine needs, and guide them to suitable products, services, and add-ons; you’ll also assist with activations, upgrades, and transactions in a fast-paced on-site retail setting.

Qualifications

• Friendly and comfortable talking with customers.
• Willing to learn and open to coaching and feedback.
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Ask questions to understand customer needs and recommend devices, plans, accessories, and services.
• Assist with activations, upgrades, account changes, payments, equipment purchases, and service needs.
• Work toward individual sales and performance goals while maintaining a strong customer experience.
• Help troubleshoot devices and resolve customer concerns.
• Follow up with customers and conduct approved outbound sales and lead-generation activities.
• Stay current on products, promotions, pricing, and wireless technology.
• Accurately process transactions and protect customer information.
• Assist with inventory, cash handling, opening and closing duties, and other store operations.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and ready for customers.
• Participate in training, meetings, community events, and other activities that support the store and business.
