Job summary

Valley Wide Cooperative is seeking a Retail Warehouse Associate in Menan, ID to support warehouse operations and customer service. You will assist customers with product information and orders, and maintain a safe, organized lot and warehouse.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts, loading/unloading trucks, stocking inventory, and performing equipment inspections. Propane certification may be required after hire, with ongoing opportunities for growth and safety training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Must be certified to operate forklift.
• Must be willing to become propane certified upon hire.
• Acknowledge all customers, employees, and vendors in a friendly and appropriate manner.
• Ability to multitask and determine order of need and task priority based on level of importance.
• Ability to communicate using proper telephone etiquette with customers, other employees, and vendors.
• Must have a strong team player focus in all interactions.

The position of Warehouse Associate is of great significance to Valley Wide Cooperative. A person in this position is accountable for inventory control and product rotation, along with maintaining areas and keeping them orderly, filling propane, etc. Warehouse employees are required to perform all required tasks with the utmost concentration and dedication. This is a safety-sensitive position.
