Job summary

Valley Wide Cooperative in Salmon, ID is seeking a Retail Associate - C-Store to support daily customer transactions and store operations. You will assist customers with purchases, returns, and inquiries while helping keep shelves stocked and organized.

The role requires a friendly, professional presence, numerical accuracy for money handling, and a willingness to become propane certified after hire. Prior customer service is preferred, with a High School diploma or GED as a suitable baseline.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Must be willing to become propane certified upon hire.
• Acknowledge all customers, employees and vendors in a friendly and appropriate manner.
• Ability to multitask and determine order of need and task priority based on level of importance.
• Ability to communicate using proper telephone etiquette with customers, other employees, and vendors.
• Must have a strong team player focus in all interactions.

A person in this position is accountable for all billing and payment related functions, along with a strong customer service emphasis. Retail Clerks are required to perform all required tasks with the utmost concentration and dedication. Retail Clerks must be well versed in the standard operating procedures of the company.
