Job summary

IKEA Gruppe is hiring a warehouse associate in Emeryville to support product availability and replenishment across sales channels. You will move stock efficiently, ensure accurate inventory, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to receive inbound goods and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Experience with replenishment and order picking in a retail warehouse.
• Open availability to work 34-40 hours per week, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound goods and ensure inventory accuracy at receiving.
• Move product to final location in storage or on the floor.
• Perform shelf replenishment according to visual merchandising guidance.
• Pick and prepare customer orders within the required timeframe.
• Handle goods including unloading, transporting, stocking in/out, and picking.
• Operate scanners and inventory IT systems.
• Certify powered equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.

What you'll be doing day to day

Contributing to the fulfillment of customer orders in different sales channels in the retail store by ensuring an efficiently executed product availability and replenishment process.

• Receiving inbound goods and ensures inventory accuracy at point of receiving.
• Moving product to final selling location (in storage or on the floor in all areas).
• Performing sales space replenishment with flexibility and according to visual merchandising guidance.
• Pick and preparing customer orders within the agreed timeframe to secure an excellent customer experience.
• Handling goods (unloading, transporting, replenishing, stocking in, stocking out, picking, loading).
• Operating scanner equipment and inventory management tools including IT systems
• Certifying all powered mobile equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
