SSA at the Dallas Zoo is looking to hire a Retail Warehouse Associate. This role involves receiving shipment deliveries, driving them over, storing shipments in our sheds, and restocking the back of house area. Candidates must have a valid Driver's License and pass a background check.

Position Title: Retail Warehouse Associate

Reports to: Retail Supervisor(s) and Retail Operations Manager(s)

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily warehouse duties under the guidance of the Retail Management Team.
• Coordinate with retail locations to ensure proper stock levels and fulfill daily replenishment orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow control procedures for cataloging, inventory management, bulk storage, and distribution of materials and supplies.
• Assist with receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies in large warehousing operations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Perform other related tasks as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with organizational skills.
• Ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented, personable, professional, energetic, and proactive.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move boxes weighing 10-35 lbs.
• Availability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
