We are looking for diverse top-notch individuals to join the Mercedes-Benz Team and uphold these hallmarks.

Job Overview

The MB Academy Retail Training team supports the Mercedes-Benz dealer network by developing learning solutions that strengthen product knowledge and improve the customer experience. The Customer Education Strategy JAC will support a new management-directed initiative focused on helping customers and dealer personnel better understand Mercedes-Benz vehicle features and technologies.

This role will identify “Difficult-to-Use” (DTU) topics through insights from the Customer Contact department and other customer and dealer feedback sources. The JAC will translate complex product and technology information into short, engaging video learning nuggets for distribution through official Mercedes-Benz channels. The assignment is intended for a recent university graduate and is expected to last at least one year.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Customer Contact department to review recurring customer questions, complaints, and DTU topics related to vehicle features and technologies.
  • Identify and prioritize customer education opportunities based on frequency, customer impact, product relevance, and potential value to the dealer network. Research additional learning opportunities through dealer feedback, product launches, technology updates, connected services, and customer ownership trends.
  • Translate complex automotive and product technology into clear, accurate, and customer-friendly explanations.
  • Plan, script, record, edit, and publish short-form educational video content, including quick tips, feature demonstrations, how-to videos, and product technology explainers.
  • Adapt content for appropriate digital and social formats while maintaining Mercedes-Benz brand standards, voice, and visual guidelines.
  • Coordinate with Product Management, Customer Experience, Customer Contact, Marketing, Communications, Legal/Compliance, and MB Academy subject-matter experts to validate content before publication.
  • Support distribution of approved content through official Mercedes-Benz channels and dealer-facing platforms, as appropriate.
  • Maintain an organized content pipeline, editorial calendar, production tracker, source materials, approvals, and digital assets.
  • Monitor content engagement and customer feedback and recommend improvements or follow-up topics.
  • Prepare regular updates and presentations summarizing DTU insights, content produced, channel performance, and upcoming opportunities.
  • Stay current on Mercedes-Benz products, vehicle technology, infotainment, connected services, electric vehicles, driver assistance systems, and relevant social media trends.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, digital media, marketing, automotive technology, engineering, instructional design, business, or a related field.
  • Recent university graduate or early-career professional with relevant academic, internship, portfolio, or project experience.
  • Strong knowledge of or demonstrated passion for automotive products and vehicle technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to create social media or digital content, including short-form video.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, customer-friendly language.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, deadlines, reviews, and stakeholder inputs.
  • Eager to learn, proactive, collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across functions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with video recording and editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Express, Canva, CapCut, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other short-form digital content formats.
  • Knowledge of electric vehicles, infotainment, connected services, mobile applications, and advanced driver assistance systems.
  • Experience using engagement data, customer feedback, or basic analytics to improve content.
  • Portfolio or examples of automotive, technical, educational, or social media content.
Expected Deliverables and Measures of Success
  • Establish a repeatable process for receiving, reviewing, and prioritizing DTU topics with Customer Contact.
  • Maintain a documented customer education content pipeline and editorial calendar.
