Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Battle Creek, MI is seeking a part-time Retail Associate to deliver friendly customer service, process donations, and help create a welcoming shopping experience.

You will operate the sales floor, use the Point-of-Sale system, stock merchandise, and support donations and store operations. Flexible scheduling includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service on the sales floor, at the donation area, and during all assigned store activities.
• Operate the Point-of-Sale system, complete sales transactions, manage cash drawer per policies.
• Process donations and prepare donated merchandise for sale.
• Stock, organize, and maintain the sales floor and donation areas.
• Assist with receiving and moving donations or merchandise.
• Follow store opening/closing procedures and safety guidelines.
