Job summary

Woodforest National Bank is seeking a Teller Retail Banker to join our team in North Carolina - Mayodan. The position focuses on customer service, handling transactions, opening accounts, and promoting bank products to meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate will have 3 years of sales or customer service experience (or related education), a high school diploma or equivalent, and a positive, engaging attitude. This is a full-time role with minimal travel.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant sales or customer service experience, or an Associate’s degree and 1 year of relevant sales/customer service experience, or a Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous in-store banking experience is preferred, but not required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Achieving individual sales by pro-actively identifying, marketing, and recommending bank products and services beneficial to customers.
• Processing transactions, opening accounts, and performing account maintenance.
• Handling branch servicing duties such as vault balancing, cash ordering, and maintenance of automated teller machines.
• Employing problem solving skills to address customer inquiries and/or concerns in a manner consistent with Woodforest Experience training.
